I keep crashing while trying to enter an atlas map for the first time

Just finished act10 and got my map to put in the atlas device but while entering the portal my game just crashes back to log in screen. I've tried multiple maps and even find a player to help me, but they also crashed while I was in their party. Is my character doomed?

same here. I thought this was in relation to PoE2 releasing...

I just reached maps in SSF Necro Settlers, and I always crash when I try to enter a map. Im stuck, tried reinstalling but same problem. Help

I just got maps as well and I'm crashing as well.

I've tried...

1. resetting h/o instance - failure
2. switching maps - failure
3. changing servers - failure
4. restarting computer - failure
5. restarting game - failure

Looking for more ideas, but its a glitch thus far. This didn't happen in regular Settlers thankfully..

Same issue here, certain maps are bugged and kick immediately. Waystones are wasted that way, and the rewards (Boss, Breach, Delirium etc.) are not available as if I failed the map.

Are you playing in fullscreen mode? Did you try turning off the multithreading engine, and then turning it back on?

I'm having this problem as well, and it seems there isn't a solution since your original post. I can't even find it on the list of known bugs even though I see a lot of posts about it.

This is happening on 2 different computers and 2 different accounts in my house. One computer is running Windows 10 and the other Windows 11. We both have Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti video cards. Both running through Steam.

Have you found a workaround?

I've checked game files
deleted the cache (this allowed us to do 1 map, then crashed on the next one)
We've tried changing to DX11, & Vulkan no change.
All video drivers are up to date.
We have more than enough RAM

I love this league, but I feel that I have wasted my time since I can't map!!!

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
