can't access my old email and i want to change it

Hi! i have problem since i have only used steam for +6k hours for path of exile and now i want to use standalone.. but on login i noticed that my email is my old email and that domain hasnt been active for few years and i cannot access it.. i allready emailed support@grindinggear.com but now i want to know how long the process will take and if theres any chance my account will be locked for X period while process is going on? dont want to miss the launch and im currently downloading the game on steam just incase this doesnt get resolved before launch.

If you've been unable to remove or change your email via your Manage Account page on our website, then we will have to look into this for you via our Support Email. contacted support but they stopped replying after first message... this is realy frustrating that you have no kind of "live" or automated support.. and i bet most of the support message answers are going to my linked email ehich i have no possibility access.. also incant link my sony account into poe so i could play on my ps5simce that confirmation email also goes to my innaccesible email.....
