when did we get a New Zealand server

OMG feeling like the dumbest kiwi ever. I've always just played on the Aussie server as that was what I thought my closest server was. Anyhow I just finished downloading POE2 and it auto-selected Hong Kong, I thought why there and when I looked to choose Australia, imagine my delight when I see New Zealand is an option and yes its there for original POE too.
Anyone know when this happened?? or is this the way to make launch tomorrow smoother as there are a lot more servers available to choose since I last looked. IGN: Keewee Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 4:30:56 AM

I'm NZer as well, I noticed the NZ server option about 1 month ago. Finally nice to have one locally, I get pings under 10ms.

Lucky you guys! In Philippines, we don't even get to hope to get a server closer than Singapore, Japan or Australia :)

the AUS server only gives me 20ms ping, so may as well playing in Aus server.

I just wish it would leave me on the NZ server forever, Sometimes get auto-logged to aussie and i feel that difference lol . Hell yeah NZ server !
