PoE2 Maxroll Walkthrough post

I know that GGG posted that the review version of PoE2 was not to be used for guides and walkthroughs, only reviews. And Maxroll - Havoc just posted a walkthrough of Act 1. There is a disclaimer that this is from older played versions of the game, but do people think this is going against the spirit of the GGG announcement? Thoughts?

Definitely goes against the spirit. It's using a technicality to get around the agreements wording and is in poor form IMO.
I had higher hopes that Maxroll wouldn't debase themselves to the same level as Fextralife but here we are. Got to fish for the clicks I guess. |

That is in very bad taste in my opinion. They should not be releasing such info until the game is accessible to the public. Shame shame shame Maxroll

Maxroll is a website that posts articles, walkthroughs, builds, and guides for several games. They employ quite a few content creators.

Absolutely! This and most content from MaxRoll is in bad taste.

Maxroll employs popular creators so it will never be questioned by the community ever. Maxroll has made some insanely awful D4 guides just so they could be "first" and it turns out that being first is all that matters in the race for clicks.
