Question regarding WASD movement in PO2
I assume that WASD is working like in FPS, you press W and character move forward in direction it is facing and character is always face-ingin direction of mouse pointer(crosshair in FPS), you press S and you backtrack away from pointer facing it, S and D you , strafe-running let and right "around" mouse pointer ... yes ? If you stop and move mouse it will rotate character around fallowing mouse pointer... is that correct assumption.

Based on the gameplay we've seen so far, I'd say that's a good guess.
The artist formerly known as Waitubold. Taking the Lord's name in vain since birth, basically.

" See, I assumed it was like all other ARPGs I've played. W moves the character "up" towards the top of the screen. A is left side of screen, D is right side and S is "down" towards the bottom of your screen Your mouse is independent of the movement of your character, which is much simpler and easier. edit: If it IS mouse-centered, that's going to take some getting used to for me lol Last edited by Kurnis#0620 on Dec 2, 2024, 9:33:16 AM

What would be nice about the movement with "WASD" would be that instead of just moving you character North, East, South, and West. It would move towards where your curser is.
Like if my curser is at the top right corner of the screen and I hold "W" the character would start moving towards the top right corner. |
