Path Of Exile 2 EA , on Xbox / Gamepass Question

Hello! I would like to ask those of you who will be playing Poe2 Early Acces on console, Xbox. Is it really true that I need the Xbox game pass core to play multiplayer? Or not? If its not, when i'll be playing the EA with friends, the gamepass not will going to be required to play multiplayer thats then correct?

Game pass is not required for poe2. But you need a poe 2 early access key for Xbox

What about trading with odder players? Don't you need gamepass for that?

I am also wondering if an active Gamepass subscription is needed for trading.
