Crash at "Authenticating User..."

1. Introduction
a. Running Steam version of game crashes without notice, warning, error, or logs b. Opening the game via Steam launcher, shows normal login screen. Everything on this screen works, options, sound, text boxes, etc. When selecting 'Login' button, the menus go away (showing the statue background and nothing else) then the window just disappears. There is no warning, error, or other indication as to what the problem is. 2. Noteworthy things a. After selecting 'Login' the bottom left shows "Authenticating User..." then the window disappears b. The last time this worked was before the profile identifier (accountname#1234) c. Game works using the standalone in Lutris and email to login, but not attached to the steam account 3. Setup a. CachyOS (latest) b. Proton-cachyos (native to CachyOS) c. Steam-Native version on CachyOS d. AMD Chip & GPU (all drivers and softwares are up to date and current) 4. Things I have tried a. Reimaging the system with several different distributions (Ubuntu, CachyOS, Bazzite, Pop_OS, Win10, Win11) all with the same crash at Authenticating User from Steam. b. Proton 6, 7, 8, 9, Experimental, Hotfix, cachy c. Standalone via Lutris (on Linux) and email to login – works d. Steam via Lutris (on Linux) – does not work e. Standalone on Win and Email – works f. Steam on Win – does not work g. Running Steam via terminal (in Linux with Proton logs) for indication of error and the only message I can find that might be some indication that there is a disconnect is (steam ID intentionally redacted): Steam_SetMinidumpSteamID: Caching Steam ID: 76############38 [API loaded no] 5. TL;DR a. At some point around the time of the profile identifiers and PoE2 EA, something broke how my account gets authenticated with (or around) the Steam connection. I have attempted to use the standalone and steam on a Windows and Mac. I am seeing the same issue, regardless of platform or configuration. WHaT We Do iN LiFe, eCHoeS iN eTeRNiTY

After launching with terminal, the only message I can find that might be some indication that there is a disconnect is: Steam_SetMinidumpSteamID: Caching Steam ID: 76############38 [API loaded no] I have verified that my Steam ID (intentionally redacted above) matches my login here.
