New Exile in need of assistance!

Hello Exiles!

I plan on starting to play PoE 2 with early access (EA), but I am "struggling" to find some info, so my best bet is to ask here.

Could you please help me with information regarding cross-play. I intend to play PoE 2 on my PS5 and PC, however, I am not sure how to approach the game. What I saw is people talk about microtransactions ( MTX ), but I am unsure what belongs there...

My "burning" question is if I buy early access let's say on PoE site, or Steam site and on my Path of Exile account I have a Steam and Playstation account linked together. Can I play on my PC, make some progress, then lay back on the couch and continue my progress on the PS5.

Similarly to that, my wife will most certainly join me, so we intend to play either PC and PS5, then mix and match in example one of us on PC and one on PS5 or both on PS5 couch co-op, of course, both having our account is all of that manageable?

Thank you upfront for any answers and pardon a maybe noobish question, it has been a while since my last endeavor of this kind... :)

I don't even see the core supporter packs on the playstation store.

But it looks to me like I should be buying the big supporter packs on the xbox store because of the pricing not including the physical goods, or... whatever is going on there.

A key is specifically tied to the platform it was purchased on. If you have Early Access for any PC platform, then you will be able to play using standalone, Steam, or Epic.

If you wish to play Early Access via console, you'll need the appropriate console key to add the game to your library, such as from purchasing one of the console Early Access Supporter Packs on that respective platform.

To be clear, an Early Access key purchased for PC cannot be redeemed on Xbox or PlayStation. But once you do have access on your game account, Path of Exile 2 is cross-platform so characters and progress would be shared regardless as to which platform you are playing on, as long as your accounts are appropriately linked to your Path of Exile 2 account before making a purchase.

Supporter Packs for Sony realms (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5) are not out yet and will become available on December 6th PST when Path of Exile 2 launches in Early Access.
