Steam and PoE 2.

bought an early access pack and found an strange message about "This key can be redeemed on the Steam store.". I been playing poe since 2018 without steam or anything else and I am pretty sure I do not need it.

Do not get me wrong, I do not mind the 30$ and I do not want a refund. I just want things to be clarified. Sent a message to support but the answer got me more confused than before, so I reported it.

So my question is: will I be able to play poe2 on a windows client like before ?
