I hope POE is ready for Elon; GGG Stream Hitting ~200k Viewers - Congrats POE!

The POE2 stream came in very strong yesterday and rattled twitch as hard as the Mike Tyson uppercut to Netflix's buffering. Following came some interesting backlash.


As a consistent TOP 10 player in the Diablo franchise and a few POE leagues, Elon's name is not on any in game leaderboards I've encountered other than a third party website for either franchise. Is this an attempt for Blizz to use social media to hold onto Elon as the poster boy of Diablo? Or an effort to steal the spotlight from GGG? It's not for me to decide. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

Beginning this morning there are currently many social media platforms pushing Elon's "rank 1" for D4 (I assure you he's not).

Coincidence? I think not ;)

These posts all began just 16 hours after Rob posted a video saying "POE 2, This means trouble for Diablo".

200k viewers for GGG on twitch
Blizzard campfire chats average ~8k viewers at best

20k last 30 days Steam analytics for diablo 4 (brand new game)
10k last 30 days steam analytics for poe 1 (game your dad played for last 10 years)

Yes it is VERY clear that Blizzard is going to feel this.

In multiple communities in discord, other sites and even the Blizz forums themselves (These posts are generally shut down after 200+ replies, which again is the most clicks a thread will ever see on those forums) people are all in agreement of one single thing. We ALL will be on POE 2 for EA.

All of the people from POE 1 that I've spoken to have agreed, they will play EA poe2. If they say they won't, give it 24 hours and lets see if they change their minds. All of the people I've encountered, and I mean EVERY single one from Diablo 4 communities have agreed they as well, will be playing POE 2 EA.

With the above information it's pretty clear to say, effectively everyone and their mother (literally) will be on EA POE2. I hope their servers are ready for this.
