Confusign witht he wordign on the redeem key page

When I go to the redeem key for the EA there is this sentence :

"Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away."

What does that mean? it confuses me... it does not give EA to my account?

It means that Early Access is already activated on your POE account. The Steam key only allows its user to download the game client.

So for example, if YOU use the Steam key, you'll have the game AND access to Early Access.

If you were to give the Steam key to someone else, they'd be able to download the game, but wouldn't be able to log in to it.

The page could definitely be a bit clearer.

It should say "Congratulations! You now have Early Access!"

Followed by: "Here are ways in which you can access the game:"


"Your account is eligible" doesn't exactly inspire confidence that everything is good to go.
