Account Merging Can Create an "Never Ending Loop" on the PoE Character Selection Screen

Bug: On Xbox, from the character selection screen, if a user switches accounts to an account that doesn't have any characters, they get stuck in an "endless loop" of being forced to create a character.

Now that I've merged my accounts, I've accessed the game from both PC and Xbox. So, now the game gives me the option to switch to either account from the character selection screen. Having just merged my accounts, I don't have any new characters in either account of the opposite platform. (I don't have any characters on my PC account when I load it on Xbox and I don't have any characters on my Xbox account when I load it on PC.) On PC, when I'm on the character selection screen, when I load my Xbox character list, it automatically brings me to the character creation screen. That makes sense; I have no PC characters on that account. At the top of the screen there's the dropdown menu to switch my account back to my main PC account. That drop down many isn't on Xbox. If I load up PoE on my Xbox, go to the character creation screen, and select my PC account, the character creation screen shows up, but it doesn't give me the option to switch back to my other account. If I back out of the screen, it begins the character creation animation again. The only way out of this is to create a character on the "wrong" account. Only once I have characters on both accounts does the Xbox version of the game let me switch between accounts (on the character selection screen) like it does on PC.
