Sooo... 6 hours of twitch, connect acct, no drops.

Do you know if I can start watching now, even if it's a VOD, and get the rewards? The livestream happened during the middle of the workday for me.

You have to watch participating streams--vods don't qualify for drop campaigns.

Sadly, it looks like it's too late to start watching for drops now. The campaign lasts until 11:59 PM EST 21 Nov, which is less 60 minutes from now, and the drop requires watching for 90 minutes.

this, it had to be a live stream so if you were watching a repeat of Q&A it didn't count
You did something wrong mate. Worked fine. Check drops inventory next time to ensure you’re getting it. Also don’t mute it. Mute the tab. But if you just turned the stream on and walked away that’s not really how it’s intended.

I suspect if you switch tabs from twitch you might not get progress. What with the whole point being to actually watch the thing.

Unless it works different to every other Twitch drop you can do that just fine, I've claimed loads with UnwashedNeckbeard69's stream muted on a tab I don't have open. The point of Twitch drops is just to boost viewing figures, doesn't matter if you're watching it or no you're still included in the viewer count.

I started at 4pm US EST with the official stream along with 300k other people.
After that ended I got shuffled over to someone else's stream. At the time there was 0% progress.

At 8pm I was wondering WTF was going on with zero progress after four hours.
Then it was 34% on some rando's stream at about 8:45. At 9:45 it was still at 34%.

It never budged.

Now it's 'no longer available', of course.

Either Twitch cocked up, or GGG did, or both.
Which is par for the course, as usual.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.
There was almost certainly some sort of Twitch bug preventing % completion.

40 minutes into the event, I happened to check my progress and it was paused at 2%. The POE stream had remained open throughout.

I refreshed a number of times and the % began to rise. But sometime after that, at around 70%, it paused again.

Had I not checked my progress and refreshed, it probably would have remained at 2%. Fortunately, I was aware of the issue, so I managed to knowingly jog completion to 100%.

I'm not particularly keen on the drop reward, but I know that a lot of people do like it, and this really sucks for them.
I was sleeping and did not know it was only for the day. Really bad for anyone not on a normal shift as well. Please bring this back as I really like it GGG!
