Flasks
The introduction of charms to remove ailments doesn't feel right to me. They could have introduced poison antidotes, thaw, shock immunity etc as flasks and automated them after short delay with cooldown.
Charms seem thematically to break immersion. I associate charms with bonuses to health, resistance and stats. We will see, could be jumping the gun. Last bumped on Nov 21, 2024, 8:51:46 PM

" Don't see any reason charms can't be utility flasks without the flask. They offer defensive benefits as a baseline, but we only saw three or four example base types with, like...three affixes. There will doubtless be unique charms that do funky stuff, though I am personally quite disappointed they still use the same charge system as flasks. Was hoping to do away with that nonsense, but eh. At least there's no more Flask Piano, and hopefully the system will continue to evolve during Early Access. Does make the inclusion of Flaskfinder as an Ascendancy for the Ranger quite weird, though. Pathfinder with no flasks is kinna....not Pathfinder? I mean, that Ascendancy still looked sick, I'm very seriously considering running it as my first character, but man. Man. Such a weird notion. |
