Points from Xbox not transferring to PC

Hi, so, basically I asked to transfer MTX points (a LOT) from an Xbox account to a PC account (both already linked), and the answer I got was "we can't transfer points, only MTX".

Did anyone else get this response, or was it just me?

It's pretty confusing to me as well, but from what I can tell you can still use those points and have microtransactions available on PC. Basically, whenever you log in you would just use your Xbox sub-account (even when playing on PC). You can then use your points through the Xbox but still play POE2 on PC as well.

What I'm not quite sure about is, if you want to buy Xbox microtransactions over the web browser, is that possible, or do you now have to only purchase microtransactions through the Xbox? I.E How do we know which sub-account a microtransaction will end up in once we buy it from the store?

What you seem to want to do seems possible, but I don't know exactly how to do it. I am not really that familiar with sub-accounts, but they say it is possible here
