Question Refund

Good Day, I am still quite new with purchasing stuff for poe and had just upgraded my supported pack to a higher level. I requested a refund after noticing that POE2 beta key cost 30$. The request was sent to support 5 hours after purchase with all the points still unspent. The only difference is that I had tried on the MTX. However, I was denied of the refund just because I had tried it. Is the refund experience the same for those who had refunded certain mtx ? I do not see any policy regarding this matter.
