Dying in Necro Settlers HCSSF - Migration

I died in Necro Settlers HC SSF and was moved to Regular Settlers SSF and not Necro Settlers SSF. Is that a bug or by design?

By design. A dead league/event HC character never ends up in the SC version of that same league. (Usually it would end up in the main parent league - Standard SSF - so we're lucky this time round).
