pc frozen on loading screens

I often get a freeze on loading screens. Neither Alt + Tab nor Ctrl + Alt + Del work.
I have to restart my PC because it freezes completely.
I played the current league for the first 2 months without any problems.

Hi, I’m experiencing the same problem. The game freezes when entering a map. It didn’t happen during the campaign, but it started in the endgame. The game’s music continues playing, and I can move the mouse cursor, but nothing else happens. Alt+Tab, Alt+F4, or Ctrl+Alt+Del don’t work either. Only a hard reset helps. I’ve tried reinstalling the game and rolling back to a previous graphics driver, but nothing worked. Now I’m trying to play the game through the original launcher instead of Steam, but I can’t log in—it keeps saying the account doesn’t exist. So I haven’t been able to test that option. Does anyone have any tips on what else I could try?

I have had this few times now on poe1 as well. Game freezes on loading screen, first cursor can move slowly in screen, but eventually whole pc is frozen along with browser on other screen and I have to manually restart the pc as windows shortcuts do not work.
