PoE2 Early Access Buzzkill
" It is not 30 euros. There is an invitation to those who has already spent more than x dollars or IF you buy a specific supporter pack you also get this invitation. The game will be free to play on launch. December is not the launch. You may be paying for the testing now, but it still a test and you know it before hand. Besides, it is likely to have resets across EA and probably also in launch. So yeah, you may be paying for the invite if you haven’t spent some money in the game before, but it is an informed decision for you. |

Early access is fine. What is not fine is ruining PoE 1.
PoE is my main game and PoE 2 early access is not worth ending PoE 1 seasons. Would be nice to have a new PoE 1 season out now and then get to play some PoE 2 EA on the side. If PoE is your main game you basically have to move on play other games and forget about PoE for awhile. |

" Absolutely what I'm looking forward to as well. Tomorrow (11.21.24) we should be seeing an update on the supporter packs where I believe the EA keys will be available. IGN - Brills

paying to beta test half the campaign is moronic. after doing this campaign multiple times for leagues most will end up hating the campaign . making it so much longer than poe 1 will kill rerolling and most casual friends of mine from playing in leagues . really dont understand why ggg would make the campaign so long . i have a feeling most of the effort in development has went into a part of the game that is just a chore to get past to get to the end game. i really hope i am wrong . but everything they have shown or has been leaked leads me to think its going to be a borefest

" The supporter pack will give us an equal value in shop points, which most dedicated players are likely to purchase regardless (eventually, and over time). So for many, Early Access is technically free. It's a nice little bonus. |

Speaking of buzzkills...I don't even know if I want to play EA. I'll probably get it due to the amount spent by default, but it might spoil it for myself.

I'll play.

" This is a optimistic way of viewing it. Even if you don't spend your points right away, you will most likely want premium stash tabs or some kind of tab that provides a QoL and those points will come in handy. Plus you could also view it as a way to just support a group of developers. The game will be free to play when the full version launches and you can be confident they will make changes as needed depending on feedback. They've proven this to be true over many many years/leagues. If you fall into the category of having to purchase the EA key and the money is tight, just wait it out and read about the reviews :) I think the holding back content part is a bummer, but I'm still excited to check out the progress so far! " Cool beans little guy, you're more than welcome to continue playing PoE1 if that is more your speed...it's why they're both going to be available. For most; new content, mechanics, classes, and world will be 110% enjoyable. The longer the campaign the better, and I will absolutely be rerolling one of each class [Removed by Support] Last edited by Markus_GGG#0000 on Nov 21, 2024, 8:28:10 AM
