Controller update?

I havent played this game in 2-years and I am planning on coming back for poe2 release. I wanted to know if any of the poe2 updates have already been put into the base game, or is everything going to be in the next league.

Specifically something like the controller improvements. Has that been implemented yet? I play on PC but like to play with a controller. Back when I was playing the controller was pretty bad. Thanks.
