Mercenary suggestion - variants of voltaic grenade CC effects for other elements
Today i got hyped for the voltaic grenade teaser.
Here are some a suggestions for variants of it : - fire variant : Hellfire grenade. immolates mobs in a particularly acute fire and makes the non undead ones run erratically around the place, confused. Maybe some mobs would be immune to the cc effect. It could reuse the fear effect animations to some extent maybe. - chaos variant 1 : stinky bomb : makes non undead mobs run away from explosion center because of the stench - chaos variant 2 : paralytic liquid grenade : makes non undead mobs stunned around the explosion - ice variant : ice cage grenade : as a bigger variant of the ice ammo you showcased, how about an ice grenade making a big ice cage around (and above) mobs taken in the explosion ? - slippery ground grenade : i also thought about something that would not necessarily require tons of animation work like my previous tripping mechanic for shadow : either an ice or a special chemical based grenade, making the ground very slippery and makes mobs continue their course further than they want when they move because their feet slip on the ground, just like when you start practicing figure skating IRL ?
