settlers is good for solo players.
lets people get chances at useful stuff that most people

" i think one thing that contributes to settler's "success" for weaker players is that it's not "directly" MF driven. but on the flipside gold is MF driven. getting as much MF you can and juicing up maps is required if you want to get a lot of gold. it still is much more advantageous for strong players as it double dips. if you're strong you can do juiced maps. juiced maps by default give you good drops. but not only that, you get tons of gold which translates to more productivity in your town and your rewards will be better too. if you're weak you still can get rewarded a huge lot but it will take considerable amount of time and effort.
