Even with detailed item descriptions on it still doesn't explain what "Defend with 200% of Armour" means. There are a TON of descriptions like this throughout the game that even though you press ALT and the item description is really tiny, it still doesn't go into detail what something means. Searching the in-game knowledgebase can be a pain and then I have to go on Google, type out the thing I need to find, endure the Fandom Wiki being slower than molasses (because it's still around for some reason). I lose the immersive experience if I have to keep going to Google every 10 minutes when I'm trying something new or just playing the game.

My suggestion is to have an in-game search-all feature with indexed entries that show areas to help with gameplay when in the "Help" window. And to include more information or easier to identify information about the game. Right now it's all scrolling through like we're all trying to memorize the encyclopedia when all we wanted to do in the first place was to just play the game.

Don't use the Fandom wiki - use this one:

https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Path_of_Exile_Wiki

Tooltips are just that - "tips", not an encyclopaedia of game mechanics.

Thank you @xjjanie for the reply. I do try to use the poewiki.net when it's available. Some pages don't exist yet or they are just 1-liners with very basic information. Sometimes it's only the "slug" version of the item name, spell/ability, etc. It seems it's still being updated.

And I don't want the tooltips to be an encyclopedia. I just want them to be consistent when it comes to descriptions. It will tell me the difference between ailments, it will even tell me the effect of auras. It's just odd that with something so minute, it can't just say the actual definition. It's not that much text to add.

Again, thank you for the reply; however, it's not quite to the extreme that you comprehended my request. I was asking for something far more rudimentary, something consistent with all of the other implementations of detailed tooltips when it comes to other abilities when pressing "Alt".
