poe 1 = only for game enthusiasts while poe 2 likely for casual playing

The way things are going, this league has been far more rippier.

They took away the only real effective defence against phy damage and gave nothing in return. They even put salt in the injury by giving mobs a chance to ignore your phys mitigation.

They are making this game far less enjoyable.

I have never had such a hard time with 8 mod maps before they got rid of phy taken as element.

my character with 60 phy to fire, and 40k armour, only reaches a max phy hit of 14k, which is nothing in tier 16, and non-existant for T17.

even with 7 endurance charges up my phy max hit goes from 14k to 16 k, which is no where close to the 50k max hit I had previous league.

And only then did it die here and there to the - to max res

And this is with all of the same gear as last league.

As soon as I saw them remove phy taken as elemental, I knew defence would feel worse, but not 100x worse.

They are really taking away all the fun in end game for me.

Back to running white maps in hiest.

this game is just turning into a 1 shot game. either the monster 1 shots you or you 1 shot them.

That just is not a fun game to interact with.

I am afraid this will carry over into the poe 2 game as well. the difference there is they are gonna slow the game down to what ruthless will likely be.

They put out ruthless to get a sense of how poe will be like before they launch it, so it's safe to say they like what they see in the ruthless crowd.

And that certainly won't be a fun game if they do move in that direction which all of the current game play looks like a slowed down version.

Wish they would make the node leading up to cluster slots attributes so we could tattoo them to something actually useful.

Anyways I'm gonna run white heist maps for the remainder of the league, only real way not to deal with totally lame game designing from GGG.

Oh poor guy. POE2 will be so much harder than POE1 its not even funny.
As a casual player you probably won´t make it out of Act1 :P

Cope. A bunch of randoms with controllers at gamescom were playing. Moving and using offensive skills is already massively less weight.

This is wrong on just so many levels. I played (rare for me and usually only play one) two toons this league, both ‘starter’ builds that with investment became fully endgame capable.

They took away some physical mitigation (a lot of phys taken as is still there) that was broken (made you literally 100% physical immune) and changed armour/es/evasion on all armour pieces to be multiplicative instead of additive which is huge.

Being unable to run 8 mod t16 maps shows either a lack of patience to gear up properly or a really bad build (usually from some random YouTuber with no actual PoE credentials).

As for headline that poe1 with be for enthusiasts and poe2 for casuals, the level of speculation there is ridiculous. No one knows the future of either IP except GGG.
