A question for those who will not get too excited playing POE1.
I want to play for voidspere besides I bought a beautiful MTX for him. But you can only put this skill at character level 34. I have already played in POE for 6 years - do you think that I have enough motivation to get to level 34 playing for those skills that I am not interested in? Question about the “structure” of the game - why not put voidsphere at 1 character level but make it weak? I MEAN, I WANT TO PLAY, BUT THEY WON'T LET ME.... Levelling to 34 takes no time at all, especially for an experienced player like yourself. Fight through the tedium.
As to why all skill gems aren't usable at level 1, it's mainly a matter of balance. Some skills would trivialize early content, even if power-adjusted. Others rely on stat ranges and synergies that aren't available in early game. Void Sphere would be especially powerful in early game due to crowd control. |

If you have played for 6 years then surely you have a character at level 34 or higher, so just slap the skill on that one and enjoy it.
Or just start a fresh character and spend 2 hours playing. | |

For example, in one of my articles I suggested to duplicate an empty character when he reaches a certain level - but this idea remained raw - unprocessed
