Controller Support is...

I just wanted to say the experience I had with a controller was the most excruciating experience of my life. The most unnatural, unintuitive, janky controls that could have possibly been created.

To top it off, we need to choose between one or the other, instead of letting us use both controller for gameplay, mouse/keyboard for menuing. We have to choose between the two. Why? No other ARPG does that. Big L for accessibility.

The UI change doesn't seem necessary just because I'm using a controller.

Thanks for the option, though. Participation award. My heart goes out to any players who need to use the controller for disability reasons. You guys deserve better than what is implemented.

joystick support should be removed from the pc realm.

as you said, it's unusable cause the pc version isn't designed for it in all parts of the game.

"direction and click" support did enough damage to all skills already that were point and click before

You should have picked up the console version of the game if you want to enjoy a controller.
The PC version is not made and designed for the use of a controller
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
hot swaping KB+mouse and a gamepad really shouldn't be hard to get going. I've played some games that do this, and I can't remember but didn't D2R add that like last year? Thats a what 20+ year old game with a facelift? Also I wont say much of anything good about D4, it really is that bad IMO, but it has hot swap support.

saying that the game was designed for KB and mouse while true doesn't mean its in GGG's best interest to arbitrarily exclude people who prefer (or indeed require as is sometimes the case) gamepad for character control and mouse for inventory, Tbh that seems like a really good matchup to me and perfectly reasonable feature request.

Can't figure out why anyone wouldn't want it as optional accessibility feature that allows more people to enjoy POE.
