Suggestion: Add more ways to aquire uber fragments

So i am a big fan of (most) of the uber boss fights and enjoy doing them. Can't really say the same thing for t17 maps though. Since i know for a fact that large parts of the community feel the same about t17s i was wondering if it's possible to add other ways to get uber fragments to the game. Imo there is suitable content around already.

Blight ravaged maps, pure breachstones, simulacrum, the feared and maybe even delve bosses after a certain depth. All of that content is somewhat gated and not freely accessible similar to t17 maps and is relatively tough, also similar to t17 maps. Because of t17 maps, and how much loot they shit out, all of that content is also somewhat forgotten by a good part of the community as it gets overshadowed.

Adding uber boss fragments to the drop pool of that content would mean more player agency and content variety for a certain subset of players. People like myself who enjoy ubers but dislike t17 can choose other content to run and still get the uber fights without having to trade for them.

Right now "uber endgame" is kinda limited to t17 and ubers. The other stuff, despite (in some cases) being introduced as uber endgame in 3.16, has kinda fallen off leaving very little variety for people who have passed the pinnacle boss level with their character.

Personally i'd also love for a way to boost guardian maps and maven invitations in difficulty. They make for really fun content in general but you grow out of them so quickly that by the time you have a bunch to run they are already completely trivial and boring. Maybe add some nodes on the atlas passive tree to increase their difficulty and rewards to some extent?

My addition to suggestions: Zana's Atlas Memories

Just like other Atlas Memories, you apply them to the Atlas. But these memories are uniques, and can add old quest lines and Atlas mechanics back to the game for the memory run, just like how they used to be. For example they can add War for the Atlas influenced areas, where Shaper and Elder battle for dominancy, and maps have Shaper memories. Another Zana's memory would add the Conqueror mechanics from Conquerors of the Atlas, and their storylines, and have conqueror taunts and Sirus appearances in the maps once progressed enough, with Atlas areas with Conqueror Strongholds. One more I would like to add is Synthesis, having the memory games and story, culminating with the Nexus of Memories, revealing Venarius is still a threat through Atlas Memories.

These are Uber versions of the storylines, with Uber Guardians and Uber Conquerors. They should be the content between Pinnacle bosses and Uber Pinnacle bosses.
Hot take: T17 maps were a mistake. GGG killed magic find (good riddance), but then added a new map tier that can only be farmed by already-wealthy players for a great deal amount more loot than anything in T16.

They should've just moved uber bosses to map fragments and left it at that.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

While i agree with that, i'd appreciate it if we could NOT turn this topic into another t17 debate.
I like the idea of giving some "forgotten" content meaning again. I think it's hard to balance how often such content should drop those fragments.

Maybe Feared always drops one, Blight Ravaged, Simulacrum, Unrelenting Legion Emblems, Pure Breachstones ect. all having a chance to drop one.
They could even add them to the "fragments" reward chests in those encounters and maybe make a special note for Delve or something.

One thing I don't want them to do is take the Atziri road, where u have to grind a tedious Boss forever to get all the Fragments.

I also like Celds idea, but that seems like a bigger "expansion" like concept.

There is no hiding it, it is sort of an end game expansion. But it is a mixture of stuff they have already done once and have the stuff laying around, and the effort to fine tune, fix and retrofit them to the current gameplay loop. Personally, I just want to experience the storylines and be challenged by them again. :D

+1 and +1

i mean having t17s by itself is NOT BAD. but i dont like the fact that makes the "end end end game" feel more like a disjointed lottery machine rather than a well oiled story progression.

they actually SOLVED this issue a long while back with how they made atizri drop uber atziri fragments. similarly, shaper/elder drops uber frags.

just make the non pinnacle monsters drop the pinnacle frags.

also, by making the "semi uber" bosses exist as t17 bosses, ggg has ROBBED themselves of bosses that could have been new content.

I don't think Atziri/uber Atziri is a good example to follow tbh. Leaving aside the fact that both have long since been powercreeped out of existence, having to fight a boss that's way below your character power level to get access to the one that's actually suited for your character is not a good solution.

I wouldn't want to run regular pinnacles on my characters. The old version with atlas passive keystone is imo preferable to that. I actually think it was a pretty decent solution overall but all the market addicts had issues with it so it got changed, oh well.
