help me craft this weapon i found on SSF
so I can multimod it to get speed and crit or so, but is there anything else I can do with this? Note, this is on SSF, so I dont have many options that need other players. I do have 1 lock, can that be useful? Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG! Last bumped on Oct 10, 2024, 9:56:43 AM

If you are feeling adventurous, you could farm a fracturing orb and throw that on it. The lock you have can help with that.

you have 1 suffix so obviously ud have to lock prefixes, strip the suffixes off then multimod, what ud get for that is crit and speed rather than just benching speed right now?
is crit really worth that expense in self found? would u really go crit with a 2h axe? i feel like in the rare situation i did that id be inclined to go slayer and take the node that ignores the weapons base crit chance and sets it to 8 anyway? so a crit chance roll on the weapon would be worthless. crit damage would be a thing in that instance but only if youre sure youre going crit and is the crit damage worth spending prefixes cant be changed, scouring and then spending multimod for 20something % crit damage? im not sure. if you can get a veiled orb from cat then an option might be strip suffix, lock prefix, use the veiled orb. then u can block the highest weighted unwanted mod, hope to get something cool, then bench attack speed if you didnt already get a desirable attack speed of some sort from the veil. that leaves 1 free suffix and you could either just exalt slam and hope for something cool (personally i would bench attack speed first because last thing you want is to land 6% attack speed and ruin the investment so far) OR, if you have the means, try and farm a conqueror exalt of some flavour. i think they all have mods that are potentially good for a 2H axe build... https://poedb.tw/us/Two_Hand_Axes#ModifiersCalc The Crusader Suffix #% increased Warcry Buff Effect increased Impale Effect #% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage #% of Physical Damage Converted to Cold Damage #% chance to Taunt Enemies on Hit with Attacks The Redeemer Suffix Auras from your Skills grant 4% increased Damage to you and Allies #% chance to Blind Enemies on Hit with Attacks #% chance to gain Onslaught for # seconds on Kill #% increased Movement Speed The Hunter Suffix Bleeding you inflict deals Damage #% faster #% of Physical Damage Converted to Chaos Damage #% chance to ignore Enemy Physical Damage Reduction #% chance to Intimidate Enemies for # seconds on Hit #% increased Warcry Cooldown Recovery Rate The Warlord Suffix Culling Strike #% increased Physical Damage & #% chance to Maim on Hit # metres to Weapon Range #% increased Attack Speed if you've Killed Recently Skills fire an additional Projectile if you want to go physical with the axe i would avoid hunter or crusader because they have a chance to get a phys conversion which would lower your damage and stop you using brutality. warlord would be the one id aim for if i had the choice. 6 mod, 4 of them are really good. if you have the divines, the veiled orb and the warlord orb then doing a * bench prefix lock * scour off suffixes * bench prefix lock * use veiled orb * bench % increased Damage per Charge to block that mod pool * unveil and hope for attack speed with attributes or take best option it gives * use warlord exalt * bench on the final mod, either attack speed or if u got that on the veil then whatever works but if you dont have the means to get a veiled orb then honestly id bench attack speed on it, yolo exalt the last suffix and just use it. if you can get a veiled orb in future you still have a suffix open to the bench so u can suffix strip and do all this at any point, maybe even multiple times in the future if you dont get the result you wanted. when doing an important craft like this i would always recommend going to craft of exile... https://www.craftofexile.com/en/ ctrl + alt + c in game to copy your items stats, paste it into the "emulator" section of the website and do the whole craft a number of times in the emulator just to make sure you are getting the steps right and its resulting in the sort of item you want, get a feel for how many times out of 10 attempts you hit all the things you want to hit. that would be what i would do at any rate. i just tried it on a 2h weapon from my standard stash and this is the suffixes i ended up with |

Awesome man. I am trying it out in craftofexile right now.
I have all the needed stuff, just missing 1 divine. Would it be of any help to use a hinekora-s lock in the process? I am on ssf so I dont think it will be of a lot of use for anything else. pure awesomesauce man for helping out. thanks! Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!

" You can try to get rid of the Lightning damage with it but the Hinekora is far more valuable than the axe. If you really want to then maybe - no idea if these are good methods: Method 1: Have Annul, Veiled Orb, Fracturing Orb ready. Use Hinecora and "see" all of them. Method 2: Get rid of the suffix. Use Hinecora to "see" Annul & Veiled Orb. Method 1b: Similar to Method 1 but first replace the dex on the axe with a crafted suffix. Also "see" Exalt & Conqueror Exalts. Method 1c: Similar to Method 1b but instead of a crafted suffix get one good suffix which is not an Unveiled mod. If the Veiled Orb succeeds (removes Lightning damage) and ends up as a prefix and the Unveiling doesnt give you anything good then you are still guaranteed to get one non-Attack Unveiled choice. If you pick this one and then craft "cannot roll attack" (need to recraft if annult hits it) you can safely remove that Unveiled mod with an Annul. For Method 1c this can remove the good suffix if its a non-Attack. And make sure the above works properly by trying it in craftofexile first. Also: If you switch to Settlers league you can craft better axe than you have. Recombinators are very powerful. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

The problem with trying to Veil Orb a prefix is that he already has Merciless plus flat phys. There is no good prefix he can unveil. It's basically not worth spending to wipe the Lightning damage. If he really wants to get rid of Lightning damage for something meaningful, he needs to fracture the merciless. That's why I said use the lock to try to fracture that mod if he wants more than wiping suffix plus multimod.
Now if he peels the lightning and unveils a suffix, I could see a multimod of Hits Can't Be Evaded plus a suffix of his choice. Last edited by TemjinGold#1898 on Oct 8, 2024, 4:31:53 PM

" Wasnt trying to imply that there are useful Veiled prefixes. I dont know and it doesnt matter for my methodology. There is always the benefit of the Veiled orb as a second chance for an "Annul". And as you write "Cant be Evaded" can be good craft. And with trickery(*) you can get 1 good attack suffix + multimod cant-be-evaded/whatever. (*) Either use multimod to fill prefix with craft or fill it with non-attack which can be removed later. (And yes Fracturing %phys is best outcome. The point of my post was to improve the outcome if that doesnt work out and OP doesnt want to gamble on a second 25% chance without the Lock.) (And I wouldnt use Hinekora's Lock on that axe anyway.) No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

So yeah, finished it after 2 tries. First one I got really crappy Jun unveil mods, like crit multi, phys over time and dex/str. So I had to farm 2 more divs to try again. Pretty happy with the result, 838 dps. Didn't use the lock in the end. saving that for something really special! Thanks for all the people who took their time to reply. appreciated!
