Defensive uses for an open 6 link

I'm playing Winter Orb and it's basically 1 button, and both my curses are on it

I have an open 6 link chest available with nothing in it

What are the best defensive uses for it?

PS: I won't have endurance charges

If you put your Auras in it with Enlighten you potencially could use another Aura like Determination or Grace, a Banner or Herald.

Otherwise you could automate Skills like Arctic Armour, or if you use a Bow Ensnarring Arrow and others with Manforged Arrows Support.


Depends on your build and gameplay.
Sometimes offence is the best defence. Whats dead cant kill you.

If its your Assasin were walking about, you could siwtch from Chance to avoid beeing shocked implicit on Flask to Avoid ailments and try to get it to 100.
That could potencialle be your best defensive option.

I'll look into that bow idea. My damage is as high as it's going to get, so I'm really just trying to use an empty 6 link

How do you "automate" arctic armor without reserving more mana? I can't get any more active aura's in my build

As to the avoid ailments, the avoid shock already makes it immune to all ailments since 52% with mage blood takes it over 100%, and then the jewel turns it to all ailments. Unless I'm missing something important :)
