Faustus Respecialisation Bug (Can't use it anymore)

I managed to bug out the Faustus Respecialisation. I got to my hideout as a low-level character, fast-unsigned two skill points via him (str-click), then left the zone.
In the new zone, my changes to the skill tree were reset.

This now occurs to me every time I try to use him. I tried relogging, and it doesn't work. If I assign the unused skill points in my hideout, it is reset after I leave the zone.

In the first image you can see what happens if I use him without instant respeccing. That doesn't look normal to me.
In the second Image, you can see that the two skill-points I unasigned are now back, but still greyed for some reason.




In around 12h, I will try to fix this bug via refund points.

Edit: I now used refund points, and those worked. The Respecialisation of Faustus is still brigged though.

Most likely a relevant info: I'm in a migrated league (currently in Settlers SSF HC, migrated from Ziz's Gauntlet), and Faustus doesn't work for me on multiple chars in that league. In the normal Settlers league, he still works as normal.
So the bug might be caused by migrating him into another league or into an empty league.

Apparently, Teigo got the same bug in August. He just thought for a while that it was an "unlimited respec" bug, but he also wrote at the end that the points reset for him.

All my characters in the league the bug occured in still can't use Faustus, so I guess this bug is here to stay (until it gets fixed)

That is not correct, as characters from the Gauntlet have gone to SSF HC, NOT Settlers SSF HC. That is why Faustus does not work (he is in the hideout but does not function).

I am playing in fresh Settlers SSF HC and most of the time Faustus respec is being rolled back. Respec with faustus and press "APPLY REFUNDS" if the button goes gray it works, if it stays brown(active) it will rollback.

Ah, beeing in HC SSF explains it a bit. I thought I would go over to Settlers HC SSF because that is basically where the ziz gauntlet took place in.

Then, I'm just a bit confused why I can select respec at all (/even disallocate points so that I'm shown that I have free points) and why the Buttons to visit kingsmarch are there (even though you can't travel there).

Also, I can still gamble items via faustus and they stay in my inventory when I change the instance. So he isn't really disabled, only the backend save of the respec is.

Ran into this bug too. Fresh SSF HC start.

I got him to unbug on last char, but he ripped. This char, cant even respec 1 point.

I figured out why this bug is happening.

If you CTRL+Click Faustus model, to instant jump to respec, he bugs out.
Left clicking him->Respecialisation works.

Curious why GGG havent fixed this yet.

Maybe OP can change his title to reflect this solution to bug, and ask GGG to fix it.
