Game crashes to desktop during loading screen in labyrinth

I get no error message, the gears just freeze and the game crashes to desktop during loading screens.

I had this bug earlier when opening my first map of the day. Upon entering the map, the game would crash to desktop with no error message whatsoever. When I put in another map, however, the game would work as intended with no crashes and I was able to complete multiple maps.

Now the same bug occurs in the labyrinth. I can enter the labyrinth, but when I try to go to the next area inside the labyrinth, the game crashes to desktop without any error messages.

This bug has not occurred since I started playing in 2018.

I'm running the game through steam in windowed full screen. I have awakened poe trade installed, but the crash occurs whether I have that running or not.

My computer specs are as follows:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core processor
16Gt RAM
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super
SSD hard drive, 1Tb.

I have experienced no performance issues.
