Reproduceable crash after multiple alt tabbing

I'm on Linux running PoE through Steam/Proton, which may be relevant. Whenever I alt+tab out and into the game when it should be set to Fullscreen, it will switch between windowed and fullscreen each time I alt+tab. So every time I alt tab to do something I need to do it 4 times instead of 2. Here's where the crash comes in- if I do this alt tabbing thing and then within a few seconds go into a menu like a Sanctum reward boon, my game will freeze and promptly crash. This bug is quite annoying as I've lost divines from going into the divine reward option and crashing since I alt tabbed before hand. It's happened at least 5 times to me, and not just within sanctum either, but that's easily reproducible as it just happened again.
