Veriusium ores getting smelted.

Hi,

I've been battling with this issue like 2 weeks already but no matter what I do all my verisium ores are getting smelted in to bars even tho I've removed every smelter many times. I've left them on idle but still nothing. So I can't upgrade my town becouse any veriusium I happen to have just goes to waist. There seems to be many people having this issue. One guy told that he had this problem and only way he could control that smelting is that he hired level 1 smelters so it doesn't happen that fast then.

Like this poster said, you have to unassign your melters until you have collected the desired amount of verisium ore.

Yeah but I've unassigned all my smelters many times and that doesn't change anything. Only way I've haven't tried yet is if I fire all the smelters but I wouldn't like to do that if there is another way.

Have you unassigned all smelters or just the ones on Verusium? Smelters on other ore will smelt Verusium once they have finish their ore type. If you have no smelters assigned on any ore, they can't be smelting. That would be a bug. You don't need to fire them.

No smelters are on the left side of smelter worker window doing anything. All of them are on the right side and "Idling" ready to be assigned to other stuff.

Well I can't explain that. Have not come across anything like that on the forum thus far. If you are describing it correctly and no smelters are assigned, but your ore is being converting to bars, I would suggest raising the topic on the bug forum. Otherwise, sometimes an image can help, someone might see something that might be the cause.

What are all the values in your smelting table, in particular for Verusium. Is the table saying "0" for each value in the column of the worker silhouette? How about the verusium row? Is the value for time "00:00:00"? What is the value for verusium ore/bars, are these going down/up?

If you click on "toggle town map", then the smelting icon, does it show 0 workers on each job? Does production per hour, wage and time to completion show as null for each ore type?

Until you get it figured out, consider pausing your miners as well, so that all your Verusium ore doesn't get converted to bars and you don't have to go searching for Verusium once its solved.

Thanks for everyone trying to help! It's working now. I verified game files but couldn't actually check if there was anything missing becouse the window disappearead. Maybe it was that or one of the updates GGG has put out these last too weeks becouse it's almost two weeks ago, when I last found verisium.
