New Build feels weak

Hello there

After a long break i found Eviscerate Gladiator quite sexy.
But i have a few problems with it.

5 Minutes ago i got one shotted by Izaro for the second time.
And it looks like i cant inflict bleeding on him.
As a lot uniques take little very damage at all.

T16 is easy, but random one shots are anoying.
I watched 3 Vids on that Build but they were quite different so im unsure which set up is best.


What i know:
- need better Shield with Spell Block and/or Life on Block/Spell Suppression
- need Amulet with Spell Block and or Spell Suppression
- no forgiveness Anoint
- better Weapon if Build turns out worthy enough to invest 30+ div

Any suggestions which "quick fixes" there are?

For reducing number of deaths: Replace body with something which gives defenses. Like this:
