Corpse spectres disappearing when duelling and then when you go back to hideout they are not there

Initiated a duel, you start the duel with no auras or spectres. The individual left the duel by logging out and I took the portal back to the town. Upon going back to the hideout I noticed everything was turned off and I had no spectres. there are no corpses on the ground and I was not warned of this.

Are my corpse spectres gone?
