Abyss pit closed without box/spire/depths

I noticed that sometimes abyss seem to close without end box, spire or leading to abyssal depths. The pit is green in minimap and there is no paths leading from it.



Also noticed that using 2x Cartography Scarab of the Multitude seems to lower my map drop amounts in T17 maps. Feels like I get significantly more rare maps without them. Switching to divination card pack scarabs seemed to give me more than double the amount. It is possible some of them did get converted to unique maps on few of my tries though.

Other scarabs used are 1x Abyss scarab, Cartography Scarab of Escalation and Cartogracphy Scarab of Corruption.
