Mis-click and can no longer fight pirates. Please fix ASAP!!

My shipment got commandeered by pirates. No big deal, I zone in and fight the pirate and rescue the ship.

I mis-clicked and zoned out by accident. Now, it won't let me zone back in! I didn't engage the pirate king. I didn't go out of the entry area. There's NO reason why people should be locked out of the encounter after a mis-click.

I have no intention of abandoning my sailors.

I'm ready to fight the pirates.

Someone please help!

Remove the option to zone out without a popup asking if you're sure you want to zone out. Warn that you will no longer be able to zone back in. But for heaven's sake, don't risk losing your six best sailors and a 2 million value shipment to a faraway port over a single mis-click that could happen to anyone.

Let you choose the option to rescue after you've zoned out but not engaged the pirates. That seems fair.

This is quite upsetting.

Instead of getting to fight the pirates and get possibly gold and rewards.. I'm locked out of the fight for no reason other than a mis-click.

Mis-clicks happen. Don't severely penalize (dead crew, lost expensive shipment) over one mis-click. This is unfair and ridiculous.

No warning that this was an issue. I figured just zone back in, no big deal... I've fought pirates before and not had any issues... so didn't know there was a risk.

Please fix this and let me zone back in and fight the pirates. Please hotfix right away. I won't be able to make any shipments or progress any further on shipping until I'm able to fight the pirates.

I am fine if I lost the fight.. But that wasn't what happened. I didn't get a chance.

Please fix this. Please help.

Unfortunately, the only thing that you can do is abandon the shipment.

When there is only one portal to a fight, and that portal gets used up even accidentally, then there is no portal left. Working as intended and not a bug.

That's some garbage.

That's poor customer service.

Let me explain why.

When you go to rogue harbor and zone into an instance, and then mis-click to zone out again, it asks you "are you sure you want to return to rogue harbor"?

The stakes? Having to load and click again. Low stakes.

When you go to the pirate cove and mis-click to zone out again -- no warning, no "are you sure?" message. And the stakes are HUGE! Loss of shipment, loss of crew.

It's enough to make people want to quit the game completely. I know because that's how I felt right afterwards. To go from elation at getting to fight the pirates to sheer disappointment at not getting to zone back in to utter horror at not even being able to pay the ransom now due to a mis-click?

Mis-clicks happen. What if 0.1% of the user base does this? That's a LOT Of customers to annoy. Why not let people re-start the encounter from scratch if they accidentally zone out or disconnect? Costs them nothing and does not unbalance the game. Why not give a warning if you are about to zone out of the encounter to make sure that's what you want to do? Costs them nothing and doesn't unbalance the game.

This is utter garbage and needs fixed. If it's working as intended, then the people intending that are evil. Just plain evil to delight in someone else's misery.

Looks like I won't get to make any shipments until this bug gets fixed.

Won't let me ship other shipments on another ship until this is resolved and I'm not about to abandon my crew over a misclick.

We are not affiliated with GGG in any way. We post to help people and save them time and effort. If you are waiting until a GGG rep responds to continue using shipments, you will be among hundreds of other posts that are left un-responded.

What Janie posted is accurate and if you want to throw a tantrum until attention is delivered, just be careful it isn't negative attention. At least your issue is one that you did yourself (even if by accident). Hundreds of others are losing shipments like they never get sent out or unable to rescue ships/mappers because the instance failed to generate.
