Timeless Eternal Empire Splinters vanished

Settlers, Softcore, PC

In my stash I have the Fragments special tab. I noticed in the "General" sub-tab of it today that I had something like 501/300 Timeless Eternal Empire Splinters. The tooltip says "combine 100 to create a Timeless Eternal Emblem", so I ctrl-left-clicked the stack thinking I'd end up with 100 in inventory and 401 remaning in the stash. Instead, I would up with only 1 splinter in inventory, ZERO in the stash, and no emblems anywhere!
