Does Socket Bench Crafting no longer give off colors?

I remember using this strat to get off colors on items. Blue on Armour bases and so forth.
Was there some sort of change that removed this aspect?

Nope. Still works. But if its on one of the new higher stat bases it will be a lot harder.

It will, but as above mentioned, it still obeys properties based on attributes and those attribute requirements may be more extreme in some cases. If you want to ignore these there are a few things that do it. Vorci chromatic reward in betrayal safehouses and tainted chromatic for corrupted items. I think the blanching omen follows the normal properties of the item, but white sockets might also be useful.

Not to be confused with vorci betrayal, it's named that because it was the original mechanic some time back.
