Generals Cry interaction not working.

The generals cry skill gem says attacks count as exerted from summoned warriors. When used with battlemages cry linked skill do not trigger from interaction.

I do not claim to speak with authority on this interaction and could well be mistaken, but the following is my expectation:

When using General's Cry, the attack triggered and used by the mirage warriors (which are proxies that only have access to the one attack skill) is considered to by exerted by General's Cry for the purpose of applying effects from being an exerted attack. This is how the wiki describes it.

Battlemage's Cry will exert your attacks, but these proxies do not have access to the Battlemage's Cry skill as much as they are a clone of you. They may benefit from related buffs as allies in some circumstances, but the mirage's attack is not also exerted by Battlemage's Cry.

The interaction you appear to be expecting would be for a triggered spell to proc as a result of a triggered mirage warrior attack. On the one hand, the mirage warriors don't have the Battlemage's Cry or supported spell skills to begin with. On the other, while not linked skill gems it is effectively a trigger occurring as a result of another trigger, which the game tries to avoid (edit:) where it is not clearly controlled [the wiki gives an example of an allowed chained trigger where CWDT will trigger a skill that itself triggers a curse on hit].

Battlemage's Cry explicitly will not support the skills of other proxies including totems, traps, and mines, so even if this exertion might otherwise somehow apply to these allies, the interaction would likely still be denied as they are proxies using your stats.

[Edited to add:]
The wiki explains this more directly where it says that (my emphasis):

"
Proxies: Skills that create proxies such as traps, mines, and totems, cannot be triggered. Additionally, because they can only possess the skill used to create them, they cannot trigger other skills.
Spoiler
Note: Here the mirage warrior's attack is considered triggered, not the General's Cry skill itself.

General's Cry should work with Corrupting Cry Support, but they must be linked together for this interaction to occur [note that while Corrupting Cry Support will not support the skills of minions, the mirage warriors are not actually minions but rather proxies].
