"Unaffected"

What exactly means to be "Unaffected"?

For example: "Tasalio Cleansing Water" says "unaffected by Ignite". This means ignite don´t deal damage to me? could "Immolate Suport" still deal damage to someone Unaffected by ignite? Would "Lethe Shade" work on someone ignited but unaffected for it?

It means you will have the status of being ignited, but won't actually take any damage from the ignite.

No, because as above, you don't take damage.

Not certain about this one. Maybe you count as burning even though not taken damage, so not sure.

Thanks! It was helpful!
The "100% more Duration of Ailments on you" part of Lethe Shade should work.
I don't think Immolate will work since burning is taking fire damage over time.
Yes my apologies, seaman is correct, I was only referring to the healing of Lethe shade. The increased duration should work if you wanted to increase the duration of the ignite on you.
I would clarify:

"burning" is not the same as being "ignited". See RF.

Immolate SHOULD still work, even if the enemy (or you) is "unaffected by ignite" because it is added fire damage "against burning enemies" and not against "ignited enemies". That being said....you are going to find it hard to actually inflict a burn on enemies unaffected by ignite because it would require pretty specialized equipment.

Compare that to Combustion Support: "Enemies ignited by the supported skill have have -10% fire resist".....ignited instead of "burning".

So....unless I am very wrong here (which I don't think I am re: RF experience):
While ignite does cause burning, all sources of burning damage are NOT necessarily ignites.

Yes, you can be burning and not ignited, but the question is can you be ignited and not count as burning?

In the case unaffected, I'm not sure of the answer.

That is correct. You have given a good example, RF. Burning ground is another, there are quite a few. Burning is a separate mechanic than ignite, they just have some overlap.

(Something else I was thinking of, if you are unaffected by burning ground, you can still get buffs from being on burning ground, like from Abberath pantheon. I don't think you would count as burning though, because you aren't taking any damage.)
