Thread of Hope, Crimson Jewel urgent help needed

i just got a skill point and trying to use it on disciple of the unyielding but it wont allow me to use a point there ? it says requirements not met

You are currently using a "massive" Thread of Hope. A "massive" Thread of Hope does not hit Disciple of the Unyielding. You require a "very large" Thread of Hope to hit that notable.
I suspect it is a wording issue. The ring from Thread of Hope has to hit/be on top of the notables for you to be able to allocate them.  |
