League Starter

Can anyone recommend a decent, beginner friendly build please.

Guardian SRS is one I've heard bandied about a lot. This particular version is a Streamer Memer version so its "affordable budget starter gear" is something like ten trillion divines and a thousand-hour Crafting Journey, but the core interaction (SRS combined with Unwavering Crusade to generate three free elemental damage auras while using your own reservations for defense) doesn't rely on specific gearing at all and will work whatever your investment level. I imagine you can also do it with Summon Skellingbois for a smoother, somewhat less spammy playstyle, if at the cost of damage at higher levels. I think. Never actually experimented with it myself, but if I ever play another PoE1 league for whatever reason it's on my short list.

Instead of going with 2 wands and spell supression I went with


Feels tankier.

You can scale and dump as much currency as you want into this build.

you can basically play whatever ability you want as we're already deep enough into the league that pretty much all starter stuff is dirt cheap and enough to carry you to the pinnacle fights / currency farming state of the game.
