Percentage Errors

I currently have 365 mana. On the skill tree node Mana Mastery there is a node when selected is suppose to increased maximum mana by 8 percent. This should increase my mana to 394.2. However my mana is only raised to 388. I've noticed this discrepancy throughout the skill tree with all percentage calculations.

All Increased/reduced mods are additive. What you described is done by more/less mods. You have other inc mods besides 8%.
Basevalue*(inc1+inc2+inc3+...)*more1*more2*more3*... |

What seaman is saying is that you likely have other sources of increased mana. So if you have say 300 base mana, the first increase 8% will take you upto 324 mana. The next 8% increase will take you up 16% increase total and 348 mana, rather than 350. It's not multiplicative each time, useless it is a "more" modifier, which does multiply the whole mana value. In this respect, the additive values have diminishing returns on overall effectiveness.
