Kirac's Memory of Phaaryl - Harbinger Portal strange interaction with Crimson Iron Ore

Hi, I was testing a low-cost farm with Memories and came across this situation. It was the only time this happened, but it made me wonder: is this just bad luck or a bug?

When the Portal is directly behind the ore, the Harbingers are not activated, causing them to become trapped inside the portal.
