Loreweave resistances are lowered by elemental weakness curse and - res on Eater / Exarch altars ?
Hello, I am noticing that my resistances that are way over the 78 % mark are getting lowered by the elemental weakness curse and also by eater of world altars while I am wearing a 78 max res Loreweave.
My understanding was that my resistances were supposed to remain at 78 and could not be lowered by things such as elemental weakness or - res on eater/ exarch altars. Am I missing something here ? Last bumped on Sep 4, 2024, 8:25:03 PM

You still need enough resists to have 78 res. If it worked the way you were expecting it to here you could have zero resists on gear and passives and still have 78 all res.

I currently have way over 78 % resistances. I was not asking about if the armor gives the resistances or not. It is mentioned on the official wiki that resistances should not be lowered by - res modifiers such as - max res modifiers on maps when you actually reach the intended amount of resistances.

Not with ele weakness you dont. Loreweave sets your max resist but you are still vulnerable to curses and exposure lowering you below that value.
You are immune to the effects of things that specifically lower maximum res but ele weakness does not lower your max res, just your total resists. Last edited by gladiatorpie#3317 on Sep 4, 2024, 8:24:22 PM

Yeah I guess it is probably intended that way. I just got confused by the wording and way it was explained. Thx for the reply.
