Dark Marionette question
Does its own explosion still occur if I'm exploding it with bodyswap of sacrifice?

No (99% sure), because the minion is "Destroyed", a special condition that doesn't leave behind a corpse to explode. But according to the wiki, the Marionette will still reform.
The different language between Bodyswap (corpse explodes) and Bodyswap of Sacrifice (corpse/minion "destroyed") seems intentional. I also believe there is some rule somewhere that only one explosion effect can happen on death, different explosions never stack. Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Sep 4, 2024, 10:00:10 PM

" bought a dark marionette and tested it with bodyswap of sacrifice+brutality using bodyswap of sacrifice destroys dark marionette, but dark marionette's explosion still deals damage not sure if intended, but it works |

^well....are you sure it was DM explosion and not the bodyswap explosion?
***Found this: "If multiple different sources of explosions trigger at once, they will all do their damage simultaneously". So, assuming BoS doesn't actually "destroy" the minion, then I guess both explosions do happen. Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Sep 4, 2024, 10:29:58 PM
