What am I doing wrong?

Im a casual noob and just cant get why my build sucks even though I followed the LS deadeye guide from maxroll. Why am I dying in T16 maps and where is the dmg at? I must be doing something wrong my goal is to get all 4 voidstones and favoured map slots. I dont want to invest more currency.

Can you link the page for you maxroll build as well, will make it easier to see the differences.

I'm not seeing anything instantly wrong with the build. There's still room for improvement. In particular more levels and an attack speed roll on your weapon will probably help. I don't think this is a particularly tanky build, so if the damage does fall off, it probably starts to feel bad.

Are you getting multiple hits on single target? There is a way to do this with lightning strike. If you attack directly on the target I think you will only get a single hit.

Defensively it doesn't look too bad to me, I just think it might not be a super tanky build. It does look like your damage might be a bit low. Probably would need to see the full build guide to give any information on that. POE ninja is a bit annoying for checking it up currently with the advertising.

LS Ranger will in general struggle with bossing unless you are either good with the mechanics or get enough DPS to just melt them.

Deadeye is even worse at this than warden, because a lot of what the ascendancy provides is Mapping QoL.

The only things I see that are missing is the Bleed/Crit wheel on the bottom and tatooing poison chance onto an int node, both Bleed and Poison count as „Ailments“ for yoke so you can get some more DPS from that.

Not sure whats on your lethal pride but if you dont have it there consider the „Rage on Hit“ Implicit on gloves.

Also I would probably take the instant leech mastery, always feels pretty good for survival in maps.

E: Also your Enlighten is not linked to two of your auras, make sure to get that fixed, might be able to fit precision on mana with that and get some more life that way.

That sounds like decent advice that might help with bossing. I would be trying to get a better weapon as well. I guess you might be needing that fire res, but if you can get it some other way this will probably help with your damage. If your trying to stay within a budget it's not terrible, just seems like there is room for improvement on the suffix to me.

When I played LS, it seemed like the damage ramps up a fair bit with levelling. This is typical with crit builds as well. A few more points might help. I don't think there is much to save on your tree, so you might need to get a couple more levels.
