Is "Twist of fate" a lie? It's not adding modifiers to my corrupted maps, it's taking them away!
So, I got max corrupted t16 maps 8 mods each. I activate twist of fate, i run then with my harbringer scarabs (my farm)....and i wind up with maps with LESS THAN 8 MODS (current one I'm in has 6).
I'm I missing something? The way it reads is it scrambles EACH MOD then ADD 1-3 more. It's not supposed to scramble the number mod mods themselves. What the heck? **yup twist of fate is BS** - Stuck in a 2 mod corrupted map (transmute + regal + vaal) and wound up with a 7 mod map. Guess we got lied to again. Not a lie....you misunderstood how the node works.
It very clearly tells you: 1) Modifies the map unpredictably (ie: applies a chaos orb) 2) Adds 1-3 mods to the result What this node is SUPPOSED to be used for is adding value to crappy corrupts, not adding mods to already crafted corrupts. It raises the base and average mod count of a rare corrupted map. You mistakenly decided that it is supposed to KEEP the number of modifiers on the input map.....which is not said anywhere on the node. |
