15% Damage taken from hits leeched as life flask craft + Pathfinder master surgeon bugged?

Swapped my potion to one with the craft mentioned in title, and now I can no longer use my life flask while on full life. It works when I use replica sorrow of the divine to give me eldritch battery, and then I spend energy shield so i'm no longer full, or when i'm not full on life. But if I am full on either, I cannot use my flask. Works as intended with my old flask (usable while full life/es) that does not have the crafted mod.

By default, life/mana flasks cannot be used while their matching resource is full. Some suffixes change that; your old flask likely had one of those.

To use the life flask at full life with a crafted suffix, I think the flask mastery to recover 4% of life when you use a flask also works.

That is one strange interaction, speccing into 4% life recovered fixed the issue.

Seems odd that you can't use any life flask at any time with master surgeon, but I guess it's just another quirk of poe I need to learn.
